This sisal, woven basket measures approximately 20 cm in diameter and is woven by our artisans in Gitarama, Rwanda. The women extract the sisal fibers from agave plants, then dye them by hand and weave them into these beautiful works of art. The sisal is woven around them. Each sisal Rwandan basket comes with a string on the back so you can hang it on the wall. Besides being a beautiful table decoration, these baskets can also be hung as art.

Made in an ethical, fair trade environment in Rwanda. All products are lovingly handmade and vary slightly in color and size.
